BLACK LIPSTICK: PAGAN ANGEL BY FERGIE

Well here I am. Doing something I seriously told myself that I would not do! And that is wear black lipstick. But this week I've ran into some beautiful photos on Pinterest and I just couldn't help myself. I had to give it a try.

A couple of weeks ago while I was at Walgreens I saw that Wet n' Wild had a black lipstick in the Fergie line and for less than $3 it was worth a try. The color is called Pagan Angel. Honestly I thought the black lipstick phase was going to be short lived but as I see this is still going strong. I was definitely a little skeptical to wear it but honestly I'm all about telling people to step out of their comfort zone when it comes to makeup so I had to do the same for myself.

Basically I absolutely fell in love with it. You gotta have the confidence to wear it though. Did people look at me? Yes. Did I give a damn? Nope! And that's because I was feeling myself. If you are in doubt you will start to fall for other people's opinion of yourself and that's a no no.

This lipstick is super edgy and so out there! I could have done more with my eyes but the black lipstick itself was doing enough on its own.

This lipstick would also be great to layer with other colors. I'll be trying it as a base for some liquid lipsticks I have and I think it will look pretty awesome. And since there's no such thing as a black lip pencil (yet that is) I used a black eye liner to outline my lips. It worked just fine and it helped the lipstick stay on pretty well.

On this post I'm using Covergirl Queen Collection 3 in 1 foundation and I am absolutely loving it!!!! I'll have a full review on it soon. I want to see how it really wears and how my skin is going to react to it.

  15. Thanks for checkin out my blog Giselle and leaving a comment. I am totally digging this look on you. Your make up is flawless and that lip color adds the wright amount of boldness. I was quite suprised that the lippy was wet and wild, its pretty pigmented. Loving the look.
