THE HAIR ROCK | INDIAN TEMPLE BODY WAVE

I received this hair from The Hair Rock for a review. But the opinions shared are my own and honest.

I've been wearing this hair for the past 4 weeks and I definitely see a difference from what it felt and looked like initially.

Due to all of the shedding that I've experienced with it, the hair is definitely not as full as it was in the beginning. Though the amount of shedding stayed consistent it was usually by the hand full.

But if I'm just going to keep it real with you this hair is good for last minute things or when you have an event or special occasion coming up and you don't want to spend a ton of money on weave. As soon as I was done with this install I knew it wasn't going to stay looking the same later on. Don't get me wrong this hair was bomb throughout my birthday weekend. It was full and it was just giving me life.

Other key points that I should also share is that this remy hair held curls really well, and the curls would last all day. As I mentioned initially it was really full and I could probably still make the hair work but adding some additional tracks to my u-part unit.
The packaging said that it could be colored but I chose to keep the natural color so it would last longer.

Overall this hair was decent for the price. It might not last for months but it if you are looking for an affordable in between hairstyle this would be great. This was also great as a protective styling for me because I didn't do much to my actual hair besides straighten my leave out a couple of times.

MY HAIR DNA | NATURAL HAIR PRODUCT REVIEW

I recently came home to a little surprise from my mail man. A box full of goodies from My DNA Curls. I was super excited to try their products. I'll be honest I hadn't heard of them before, and it's probably due to the fact that I don't do much venturing when it comes to hair products (though I plan on doing it more this coming year).

The package included their Sulfate Free Shampoo, Detangling Conditioner and Moisturizing Hair Butter. So I thought I would do a little review on it, because maybe there are other people like me who have either not heard of the brand or would like to know a little bit more about the products before making a purchase.

I tried the Sulfate Free Shampoo first. Now I'm not one of the naturals that separates their hair and shampoos each section. I literately just get in the shower and I wash my hair (say what you may, but I do not have time for all of that or the patience to be honest). The shampoo did not strip my hair. My natural hair felt clean but not squeaky clean. It didn't tangle my hair either, and that's a big plus.

I followed the shampoo by using the Detangling Conditioner. It didn't give me a lot of slip for detangling. I have super thick hair and it can be a challenge to detangle. So I didn't think this conditioner was amazing. It was ok. It added some moisture but not a ton. Keep in my mind that my hair is super dry naturally so it takes a lot to restore moisture for me.

After washing and detangling I moved on to the hair butter. I did a flat twist out and a bantu knot at the end so it could give some curls. I really like this hair butter. I gave my hair definition, my hair felt fluffy and it helped to hold the style all day long. This was my favorite product in the pack. I have been using it on myself and my daughter.

Overall I think these products are really nice. So far I have really been enjoying these products. After using them for a few weeks I think that the only product that was a miss was the Detangling Conditioner, and that's because I don't feel as if it gives my hair much moisture and I really need that.
I really like the butter, it has helped take my styles up a notch by adding more definition. It also does not flake which is a huge plus for me!!! So I would definitely recommend this product.

VIVA GLAM ARIANA GRANDE

This is no longer news and I’m sure you’ve seen a few people rocking this lipstick and gloss but we can never have enough swatches right?!

MAC recently came out with a new Viva Glam lipstick and spokesperson. Ariana Grande will be gracing MAC stores and counters near you. Her lipstick and gloss are actually very trendy and can be worn by anyone and everyone. I love that she went with a dark lipstick color given the time of the year that it was released in and I also love that the gloss is super neutral and makes it the perfect option for those wanting to support the cause but don’t want a super bold lip.

Regardless of the color of the lipstick and the ambassador, the Viva Glam program is actually really great. You can look great while helping others in the process. So this is basically guilt free makeup shopping lol

VALENTINE'S DAY 2016 MAKEUP TUTORIAL

OMG it's that time of the year! Time get glamorous! Whether you got some awesome plans to get dressed up and go out with your sweet heart or you'll be hitting the town with your crew this tutorial is for you!

I tried to keep it simple but still glamorous, by having light smokey eyes and soft pink lips. So if you are still looking for some inspiration for this weekend look no further. I got you!

This tutorial was initially supposed to have used used drugstore makeup and for the most part it worked well for my eyes, but not so much when it came to the rest o my face. However I am still planning on doing a tutorial with brands that you can pick up at your local drugstore or Target. This time around I'll test the products before hand so that there are no surprises lol

YSL TOUCHE ECLAT NEUTRALIZER | INFLUENSTER VOXBOX

YSL touche eclat neutralizer influenter voxbox

Welcome back! I was chosen for one of influenster's newest voxbox, and this time they were featuring the YSL Touche Eclat Neutralizer. This is supposed to help with hyperpigmentation and dark spots on the face, by neutralizing it before foundation and concealer application. By using a neutralizer you take away some of the darkness so that you can get a really flawless application from your foundation.  I got this in the color in Abricot Bisque. It has a light orange tint to it. I personally have been using it as a highlighter because I don't think that for myself it has enough coverage or tint to completely hide the few dark spots that I have on my face.
