Part of being a girl (well at least for most girls) is getting dolled up to go out and have some fun. For me personally I absolutely love planning a night out with my friends! But the first step to ensure that I have an amazing night out begins at home. Looking and feeling my best is key! I don't like to be subtle when I'm going out. As a makeup artist I'm required to wear makeup to work, and even though I am encouraged to wear my makeup as I please (most of the time) there are still some restrictions. For example I can't wear other brands or products that we no longer have in stock or that have been discontinued or were limited edition. With that being said I get to actually have some fun with my makeup when I go out because I can wear anything my little heart desires!
So naturally for this post I chose to go with a sultry smokey eye. I know smokey eyes can be super scary, specially for someone that's not used to doing their own makeup. Here's my tip, stick to two colors and replace the black with a dark brown. A blending brush is a MUST and it will be your best friend when creating a smokey eye. Add some eyeliner on top and the bottom and you are ready to go! Well unless if you're like me and you just feel the need to have lashes, then put those on and go hit the town!
