Red Lipstick & Champagne Dreams: Floral Jamberry Nail Wrap 7 Day Challenge

Floral Jamberry Nail Wrap 7 Day Challenge

I recently shared with you my first experience with Jamberry nail wraps, on my Valentine's Day nail post here. But before my very first Jamberry purchase I was scoping the web for some more information on the product and I ran across Jen's blog Simple Nails and Beauty, where she runs her independent Jamberry business. She offered two trial wraps as accent nails to compare on the durability against regular nail polish.

This is one of the wraps and it's super cute! I pared it with a peachy nail polish from MAC, and added some top coat to try and make it last longer. It's a little bit springy and it puts me in a good mood!
Another point I want to make is that while I was wearing my Jamberry wraps my nails did not break or flake (my nails are horrible), but as soon as I took the wraps off they went back to their normal, breakable selves. So the wraps were keeping them together and helping them get longer which is a huge plus for me.

So this will be my 7 day challenge to see how these nail wraps hold up against regular nail polish. As I stated before I have zero luck with nail polishes, so I'm sure I would have to redo my nails soon. The valentine's wraps lasted me well over a week but I was ready for a new look.

This application went a lot better than the first one and I don't think I will have any lifting problems. I guess it takes a couple of times until you really get the hang of it and are able to see what you need to do make it work and last longer. This time I made sure to also warm the wrap while it was on my nail and then I smoothed the corners with my tweezers which I also warmed up with the hair drier.

This is not a sponsored post, I just really enjoy these wraps and wanted to share it with you guys! And I like to give credit and credit is due and Jen provided the wraps along with a little kit to make application easier and I was extremely excited when I got it in the mail!

  1. Such a cute design! And great job to pair it with a peachy polish. I don't think I would have chosen that. It really makes the flowers pop! Here's hoping that they last for seven days!! *crosses fingers*

  3. Very pretty! By the way, what type of nail polish is that peach color? One of my goals is to actually paint my nails (lol) and I really like that color! Also, would you have any interest in a guest post? I have an idea, so if so, please email me at quirkybrownlove@gmail.com

  4. I just tried out two samples myself, and I really like them! My nail wraps look nice so much longer than the polish, so now I can't wait to get my order and use them on all my nails!

  8. I found my nails didn't tear as much wearing Jamberry as they normally do with just polish, too! And I love the peachy color you paired with that pretty floral wrap. :)
