Red Lipstick & Champagne Dreams: Top 6 Natural Hair Styles to try in 2015

Top 6 Natural Hair Styles to try in 2015

As a natural hair girl who finds it hard to tame her hair sometimes, I tend to take it to pinterest to find inspiration. I also tend to stick with the usual braid out or a twist out, but that can get really boring. So I have a natural hairstyle board on pinterest that I turn to often. So I decided to take six of my favorite pins and I'll try to recreate them on myself this year to break this natural hair boredom!
I absolutely love this style!!!! I tried to do the crochet braiding thing and it did not turn out as expected. It was actually a hot mess. One side was cut though lol But I've been seen so many awesome hairstyles lately using this method that I think I might give it another try.

Here is another one that I've been wanting to try. A very sleek pompadour! My hair is not super long so I would probably have to add a little bit of extra hair to get the same amount of volume. But this is such a chic style. It can be worn anywhere and at any time. And it's super fun as well!

I would really love to be able to do a wash and go without looking super weird. I have major shrinkage and that does not make it for a cute hair style. So I think this would be a good way to introduce a wash and go into my hair routine because my natural hair would be up and styled. Easy enough!

And how cute is this style?!?! Adorable. I love how she matched her lipstick to her scarf!

This to me is by far the best protective style. I don't have to deal with my own hair while still being able to care for it. I've done box braids before but this time around I'll do it with color for a more fun look.
I've been wanting to do a blow out for the longest. But just the thought of going through the process of doing it makes change my mind every time. And I also don't want to pay for someone to do something that seems so simple. Sigh we'll see if I'll manege to get this one done. Either way I'm in love with this picture!
